<b>Location.</b> Castle Island Colony is located across from the popular Ala Wai Golf Course and features spectacular views of the ocean, mountains, and city. Just a few blocks from the beach and plenty of fabulous shopping, dining and nightlife, the hotel is at the center of all that Honolulu has to offer. <br><b>Hotel Features.</b> Guests are greeted by a spacious, black-tiled lobby decorated with orchids and palms and overlooking the Ala Wai canal. On the sixth floor there is a large sundeck with a pool, sauna, spa tub and picnic tables. Also on the deck are a massage therapy and a holistic medicine center that offers various natural remedies. There is a sundries shop on site, along with a video store that rents VCRs and movies. There is a restaurant on the ground floor where guests can enjoy casual dining. <br><br><b> Guestrooms.</b> All of the accommodations at Castle Island Colony are air-conditioned and feature tastefully decorated furnishings and private lanais. Each unit maintains a private bath, in-room safe, cable television, telephone and vanity. The rooms also have balconies, coffeemakers, desks and refrigerators. Comfortable accommodations and a beautiful location are the hallmarks of this Honolulu hotel.<br><br><b> Expert Tip.</b> Although Waikiki has countless tourist attractions and activities, the island of Oahu has a lot to offer travelers outside of the square-mile of Waikiki. For example, guests can relive the romance of Pan-Am's famous "China Clipper" flying boats when they departed from historic Keehi lagoon. All flights are pilot-narrated with a two-way intercom that allows tourists to converse along the way, and each passenger has a window seat. Guests can utilize the activities desk to book tours, and many of the tours offer complimentary shuttle transportation to and from the sites.
