Property Info
Location. Central Waikiki's golden beaches and international bustle lend eclectic ambience to the Sheraton Moana Surfrider, located in Honolulu, Hawaii. The resort opens onto Kalakaua Avenue and is just one block from downtown Honolulu.
Hotel Features. This tropical Grand Dame holds her place in history as the first resort built on Waikiki. Descended from an era of honored tradition, the Sheraton Moana Surfrider continues a ritual of afternoon tea service, while her rich past is revealed three times per week via complimentary guided historic tours. A sundeck benefits from the poolside banyan tree's canopy of shade, and a sea-view veranda opens onto a breezy courtyard. The resort's historic wing shelters rooms that conceal wonderfully mysterious stories, as yet unsolved. Guests may tap into the mysteries of the modern world through wireless Internet access, available in common areas of the hotel. Diners may sample the ambience of yesteryear at the on-site Banyan Veranda and the Beachside Cafe that provide romantic ocean panoramas. Guests can also take advantage of signing privileges at three other Sheraton hotels in Waikiki. The adjacent Sheraton Waikiki offers a fitness center, a children's program and a business center.

Guestrooms. The resort features 793 rooms distributed across the Banyan building, the Tower, and the Diamond wing. The historic wing features koa, maple, mahogany, and oak accents, the wood choice repeated in antique-style armoires and picture frames. Accommodations are distinguished by wicker furnishings, reproductions of botanical prints and replicas of old lamps. Tower rooms have furnished balconies, contemporary island décor and granite shower/tub combinations. All rooms provide custom pillowtop mattresses, duvets and triple sheets. Air-conditioned and non-smoking, the rooms offer compact refrigerators.

Expert Tip. On the quieter sections of this area's beach, Hawaiian green sea turtles have been known to delight guests by popping their heads above the water.

<span style-"color: black;font-weight: bold"> Complimentary Parking in Waikiki Program:
Beginning January 7, 2006, Sheraton Hotels in Waikiki will provide complimentary self-parking per paid night.

Sheraton Waikiki and Royal Hawaiian - use Sheraton Waikiki parking garage.
Sheraton Moana Surfrider and Sheraton Princess Kaiulani - use Sheraton Princess Kalulani parking garage.

To receive complimentary parking, guest must present their parking ticket to the front desk at time of check-in and receive a parking pass/voucher.
